Build a continuation one step at a time
See how each selected token becomes context for the next step.
In autoregressive text generation, a model predicts a distribution for the next token from the available prefix. Decoding selects a token, appends it, and repeats until a stopping condition. A different choice can change later continuations; it does not prove which claim is true.
This is a handcrafted illustration, not a real model or tokenizer. Choose a candidate piece and watch how the next step depends on the text so far.
